Join us for the Napa/Sonoma chapter's first annual Appellation Series event! This year we’ll be celebrating the wines of the Sonoma County AVA (aka American Viticultural Area), tasting and learning about a few of the wines from Sonoma's many sub-appellations, from the Carneros District in the south to the Russian River Valley, Knights Valley, Alexander Valley and beyond further north.

If your boots (or sandals) are ready for walkin’, we’ll be starting this evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres and a bit of appellation education at Roessler Cellars'
tasting room off the northwest corner of the plaza on First Street West. Next, we'll mosey down the street to Adobe Road Winery's tasting room on the historic Sonoma Plaza. Finally, we'll walk back to the beautifully appointed Hawkes Vineyards and Winery.

Each of these wineries crafts stellar examples of the best wines in the Sonoma AVA. We’ll wind it all up neatly networking with other Aficianado and Professional WWS members as well as non-member guests.

It’s a great opportunity to learn the unique qualities and terroir of some of Sonoma’s greatest sub-appellations and makes for the perfect evening under a slowly setting sun in the west.

More on these wineries on our blog here.
