What are you passionate about? Maybe food, music, travel, your family … wine? Well, Lorraine Hems is passionate about all of these and more! She invites you to take a passion-filled journey to the other America – South America. A lot has changed since she first went there in 1993. Explore grapes, producers and regions you may not be familiar with all paired with foods reflecting these countries’ cuisines.
Lorraine is a local wine educator who likes to approach wine in a fun, non-intimidating way. She is a lecturer in the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department at the Rochester Institute of Technology and also teaches Wine and Spirit Education Trust certification courses at the New York Kitchen.

Registration begins at 6:30 PM.
Capacity is limited. Registration closes on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

Payment is required in advance by credit card or check. In order to keep costs low for all members, we are unable to offer refunds after event registration closes. If you find yourself unable to attend after registration closes, we encourage members to find someone to take their place. When an event reaches capacity, we do keep a waiting list. Let Sue Mullen know if you are unable to attend an event. In the case that there is a waiting list, we will contact the next person on the list and refund your registration fee if we fill your spot.
If paying by check, payment should be payable to 'WWS' and sent to WWS Rochester, c/o Sue Mullen, 250 Avis Street, Rochester, NY 14615. Checks MUST BE RECEIVED by Thursday, October 4, 2018. If payment is not received by this date, your registration may be canceled.
