Silver Bells and Ruby Bubbles

It's the most wonderful time of the year! We will enjoy a variety of festive wines to match the season. We will be looking at sparkling red wines, learning about the grapes and regions that produce them. We will taste through a variety of wines from around the world.

About Maureen:

Maureen Bayer is a WSET Diploma student and Certified Instructor for Levels I & II. While studying in Florence, Italy during her time at RIT she fell in love with the wine program and continued her education at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California. After spending years as a buyer for on-and off premise accounts Maureen made the flip to distribution last year. Maureen is a Wine Consultant for Massanois, LLC covering the Western New York territory. She recently achieved her Certified Wine Educators certification and is also a Certified Sommelier. She is a self-proclaimed bubble head with a love for all things sparkly!

Giving Back to our Community:
Our last charity of the year at the December meeting will be “Homesteads for Hope”.  http://www.homesteadsforhope.org/

Rebecca Bruno will explain how Homesteads for Hope offers a unique Community Farm experience that promotes skills-training, socialization, self-awareness and career exploration on an organically practiced farm; offering effortless inclusion with its many collaborative partnerships within the greater community. As the demand for self-directed and inclusive community services continues to rise, particularly for young adults, Homesteads for Hope will provide high quality services to people of all abilities.

Please help us support this worthwhile charity by brining a check or cash to our December meeting.

Please Note:  If you are a non-member registering for this event and paying with a credit card, you will be charged a small service fee for this transaction.  This fee will appear as a separate line item on your credit card statement.
