Seattle-Malbec Rising!

Monday, October 19 - 6:30PM

The Seattle Chapter of Women for WineSense invites you to Malbec Rising! Malbec in Washington State is a grape on the rise. A mere 700 tons were harvested in 2007, but in 2014, 2200 tons were taken to our state's wineries to be made into Washington Malbec. While Cabernet Sauvignon definitely leads the pack at 42,200 tons, Malbec is the 5th most planted red varietal in our vineyards. Limited, yes, but so worth seeking out. And so worth enjoying - which is what this evening is all about. Dinner will be paired with Malbec, of course! If you want the vegetarian main course option register then email or call (425) 882-1621.
